January 1967 – the Searchers released their next single (see below). Catalogue number was 7N-17225. It was their first single that didn’t chart in the UK.

 

 

The A-side was sung by Mike Pender with Frank Allen assisting. The flip side was sung by Mike alone.

Far left: single from the Nether- lands. Same number as UK release.

Left: American issue  on the Kapp (K-811) label. Song  didn’t chart in both countries.

 

The single was released in many countries, like Australia (on Astor), Ireland, Sweden and Denmark with another picture cover I unfortunately don’t have.

The song didn’t chart in any country. Reason enough to look for another change of style.
